The introduction of the European Energy Performance Directive entails, among other things, that a mandatory energy certificate will be displayed in municipal buildings. This energy certificate provides users, tenants, and buyers with insight into the building’s energy costs and which economically viable measures are possible.
The certificate, with the classification A-G, must be displayed in a place in the building that is clearly visible to the public.
