XPO launches transport with super eco-combi for Saint-Gobain in Spain. The logistics service provider already operates super eco-combi for several customers.
XPO Logistics, a supply chain service provider, has launched a new Duo-Trailer line in Spain, developed for Saint-Gobain Placo. This initiative was developed in close collaboration with Saint-Gobain.
The shuttle transports Saint-Gobain Placo in Zaragoza daily to various destinations within Spain. This solution optimizes national logistics flows, increases loading capacity, and reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 30% per trip, resulting in a saving of more than 20 tons of CO₂ per year. The combination consists of a tractor unit, a three-axle semi-trailer, followed by a two-axle dolly, and another three-axle semi-trailer.

Saint-Gobain has been an XPO customer for ten years in various countries, including Spain, France, and the United Kingdom.
XPO also operates these super-eco-combi vehicles for other customers, such as packaging company DSSmith.
